The algorithm checks every year in the range for the extra day in February. If you add 1 year to February 29th, 2024, the result will correctly land on February 28th, 2025.
Month Length Logic
Months vary from 28 to 31 days. When adding months, the tool ensures the day of the month is preserved unless the target month is shorter, in which case it snaps to the last valid day.
